Get Involved: Awards Program
The Erie Canalway Heritage Award of Excellence celebrates significant places in the National Heritage Corridor where people have come together to make their part of the Corridor a vibrant place to live, work, or play.
The award is offered biennially, alternating with Heritage Showcase Workshops, where award-winning sites share best practices and lessons learned with people doing similar work.
2013 Call for Heritage Award Applications
Our call for 2013 applications is closed. Jurors will select finalists, who will receive a site visit in April. Recipients will be announced in June.
Recognition for excellence is selected based on the applicant's effectiveness in helping to advance one or more of the goals set forth in the Erie Canalway Preservation and Management Plan. more >
