Boating In addition to the canal, rivers and streams within the Corridor are well suited for motorized vessels, as well as kayaks, canoes, and other small non-motorized boats.
Fishing Rivers provide important habitat for the state's fisheries, drawing many anglers. Trout, walleye, and steelhead are found in smaller rivers and streams.
Brockport and Spencerport

Lake Erie The original terminus of the Erie Canal meets Lake Erie at Buffalo Harbor. Boaters can explore the larger midwestern inland waterway system that includes the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers. Excellent fishing and boating opportunities.
